Eric Patnode brings deep commercial leadership experience in the ophthalmic industry with a strong record of driving adoption, building high-performing teams, and scaling innovative technology. He has led national field organizations, inside sales teams, clinical outcomes groups, and commercial operations functions, while guiding training, education, and practice-integration programs that support sustained practice growth.
Eric has overseen major product introductions across the United States, including launches that reshaped practice workflow and elevated the patient experience. Eric has partnered closely with surgeons, practice administrators, and industry leaders to refine clinical education, patient communication frameworks, and premium IOL decision support strategies.
Before joining GreenMan, Eric served as Vice President of Commercial Enablement at Newton (fka Neurolens), where he led learning and development, sales operations, clinical teams, and large-scale practice integration initiatives that improved adoption and increased recurring revenue. He has also supported early-stage companies and coached sales teams through complex change cycles, new process implementation, and market expansion.
Eric now serves as Head of Sales at GreenMan, where he is focused on expanding InSightVR adoption, strengthening customer partnerships, and helping practices grow their premium IOL business through a more modern and experience-driven patient education model.
